STEEZE

THE CONCEPT

I decided to create this mini magazine about streetwear for my editorial class. This issue was a beginner’s guide to streetwear culture and it includes a brief history of streetwear, Air Jordans, and an interview that I got a chance to do with a sneaker head content creator. I was able to shoot half of the photos and write all of the content.

Software: InDesign, Photoshop, Lightroom

THE GOAL

My main goal was to keep the streetwear aesthetic but keeping the design balanced to not overwhelm readers. I focused on using a mixture of experimental and modern typography. I also chose to use a sort of neon lime green and a bold orange color throughout the magazine to balance out the muted editing style of the photography I shot.
